if you are at the 1.02 then its Daniels or Josh Allen as your first pick and then heavy WR build. It may not mean a year 1 win but long term i have found it to be the best. there are two main reasons for this
1 - Star QB: the top QBs really help you out but after that there isnt a huge difference between QB 10-20 year to year. I would rather take Josh Allen or Jayden at the 1.02 and pair them with later round guys like Goff, Dak, Fields, Tlaw, Bryce. Then take Josh or Jayden and pair then in the second round with Herbert, Stroud, Nix etc.
2 - WR heavy build: there is high turnover with QBs, and RBs age out/get injured often. Therefore we should build our startup around WRs. Round 2 i am looking at Nico, Drake London, Ladd, Marv, JSN, Gwil and then in round 3 looking at Tee, Tet, Worthy, Devonta. I would do that for 4-5 rounds. Obviosuly if you feel like a great player slides to you then dont pass it up. But i have found that you can always make trades mid season to losing teams for RBs age 27+ like James Conner, Aaron Jones, Kamara, henry, Mixon who can come win you a league much easier than their WR counterparts.
One exception - if somehow McBride or Bowers falls to you in round 2...im taking them
