What is considered a rebuild for you?
Unless you completely implode your team and sit well known starters. I don’t understand, it is fantasy and I believe every team has a shot at getting lucky.
How many times have you seen the highest scoring team in your league miss the playoffs? I’ve seen it quit often.
Or a team that has no business winning the ship take it. Also, quite often.
So I just don’t see what’s considered a rebuild. Even if you went all in last year on rookies. You would have still been able to compete, unless you just swung and missed every pick.

<@DubCbaby> I consider a rebuild essentially when you give up on a season. Whether that’s prior to the season when you have 3-4 players go down to injury or when you start 1-5 and say screw it im moving onto next year
I’m not of the opinion that a rebuild should take more than a year if you’re a good fantasy player. Through trades, draft, waivers, etc you can turn almost any team around in 365 days. Otherwise what’s the point? I’m not paying dues for 2-3 years if I’m not planning on trying to win

So my goal is always long term. If I’m not in position to grow that, that’s a rebuild to me. Pretty rare I go into a season with a chip, chair and a chance and still not consider it a rebuild.
The basis of the strategy is either be vying for the chip or vying for the 1.01. Being in the middle is the worst place to be
