If you’re going to trade for elite anything, it’d be TE for me. Either Bowers or McB, maybe Laporta. Maybe Hock if you get something back. Anything less than that and I’d just bargain-basement stream the position.
An elite QB makes a difference, if you can get JD, I’d do it. But if you’re not getting a good value it’s definitely not worth it. The guys you have are serviceable and have some (at least) fantasy upside, even if their long term value is in question. Maybe offer one of your QBs (whichever the other owner is interested in) and the 1.05 for JD? It’s an overpay, but you should lock him up for a very long time that way.
As for Waddle…I’ve been saying for two years it was time to move in from him. Only heard arguments in return about all of the upside, but have only watched his value continually drop in the meantime. I wouldn’t sell low, and I’d wait for the best time to maximize his value, but yes, I’d definitely be looking to get out from under him.

I would take Jeanty, and upgrade at quarterback, I'm not a fan of any of the three you Arich is not a long term NFL quarterback, less than 50% pass completion doesn't get it done, JJM is a question mark at best for me, he could be better than I am projecting of course, but I have concerns, and Fields is also not a long term NFL quarterback but he is a good fantasy quarterback and I think the Jets will be reluctant to bench him, so he has potential to be great for this season then I'm out, so I would see what you can get for JJM and Arich in your league, and package them or one and a pick if you can land a guy like Baker for a good price, it may be better than trading for Allen or Lamar, Burrow, and giving more than you can give without hurting your roster, if you get Jeanty and a quarterback, you look like a playoff team to me, I don't see you in a rebuild at all, good luck this season man1raythelegend• 8 mo ago
You have a great wr group but not a lot beyond that. I would really try hard to see if you can move say the 1.05 for a 2026 first and 2027 first plus maybe a second round pick
Stock up your chances especially in the 2027 draft of grabbing a QB in a much better draft class. You need to keep building slow. Don’t try too hard for an elite piece your team isn’t ready yet
