My. QB room is Allen, Daniels, Williams, n Tua. We can start 2. I was offered Penix n mid 2026 1 for Williams. Thoughts? My rationale if you need it...I'm weak in another position this trade partner can't help me with. I don't really need a QB. Nobody is interested in 2026 picks. Tua is a head injury away from being out for the season. I feel Williams is better spent getting me an upgrade at the certain spot I need or being my <#3>.

deal doesnt make sense to me. I like Williams upside more than Penix so the 1st doesnt move it for me. also I think a QB3 in SF is slightly overrated assuming this is a 12tm. I dont see a scenario where you are sitting Allen or Daniels outside a bye week so Tua is a fine bye week fill in. Id only move Williams for a skill player and maybe a 1st if the value is there

Nope. I think Allen, JD & CW is a great SF qb room. I'd sell Tua.

I wouldn’t make the trade bc it doesn’t help you now. Caleb has a great new HC and fantastic weapons. Plus huge upgrades to O-line. His value will increase and you can get more for him in season or before next year’s draft to gain that additional draft capital.

I think you got it figured out already, Penix is no help to you and the first is a gamble at best this far out, plus I expect Calebs value to increase by a lot by the beginning of next season, but I'm not against trading him if it improves your roster and chance of winning the championship now, go with your gut man
