So what do you do with a guy like Jefferson if you are rebuilding and by the time your team is a contender he will be older and his value will be nothing compared to what it is now? Do I sell now while I can get the haul for him?

You should be in no rush to sell him as - barring a terrible injury or criminal activity - his value will be high fit a while.. You could get a haul during the season so i would wait until you get the right offer.

If you’re 2-3 years out, he could be a nice catalyst to boost that rebuild

Try to get as much depth as possible for him, but only for multiple good players
