12 team PPR Dynasty Rebuild. Is Aiyuk for Reed fair at this point? Do I even try that? I think I can gt Aiyuk but the guy will only trade him if he wins out a little.

I think the only definitive answer you’ll get is that Aiyuk is better than Reed right now. Anything more than that is pure conjecture. Both have very ambiguous parts to them that are nearly impossible to define. Aiyuk: seems like the de facto WR1 in San Fran. However, he’s always been a better NFL WR than a fantasy one. Is his role going to expand? Will Pearsall fill the void? Will Aiyuk even be on the team? If not, where? Is he coming back from injury smoothly? No one knows those answer right now. Reed: seems clearly the most talented WR on that team. Is he suppressed due to number of mouths to feed? If he’s their guy, why do they have him doing returns and subjecting to potential injury? Next year all of those WR contracts start expiring, so will he be the guy left standing? Will they bring in someone else (more of an alpha like Jacobs suggested)? Will they keep leaning heavily on the run game? Again, no one knows Both are young, both are talented in different ways. Their prices are close to one another. Unfortunately l, that’s about the extent of ability to predict, but I’d say both are top notch prospects, but for the short term, I’d lean Aiyuk. Long term…both are solid bets but neither are sure things as any more than a WR2
