Playoff seeding was determined in my yahoo league “best regular season record vs opponent wins” and it has some of us baffled. There are two teams with an identical record, they hadn't faced each other this year and the guy who's in the playoffs right now is behind in points by like 100. Can anyone help explain why this would be happening?

Is it record against common opponents? You’d have to go through the schedule week by week and see who your common opponents were for the entire season and see who had the better record in those specific games
