NFL RELEASE THE VIDEO! QUIT PROTECTING DOMESTIC ABUSING SCUMBAGS WHO PUNCH WOMEN! If he’s able to play right away then the video should honor that!
NFL & NFLPA Zero-tolerance policy for proven domestic violence and child abuse
The NFL should adopt a strict zero-tolerance standard for players found guilty in court of domestic violence or child abuse after due process. The league constantly speaks about character, leadership, and responsibility. That standard must mean something. Protecting women and children should come before protecting talent, brand value, or wins.
NFL PROTECT WOMEN FROM DOMESTIC ABUSE AND VIOLENCE
No woman, partner, or family should live in fear.
It’s time for real change. It’s time for zero tolerance.
NEW ERA. NEW STANDARDS. ZERO TOLERANCE.
Domestic abuse and violence will not be tolerated, excused, minimized, or ignored.
PROPOSED POLICY: AUTOMATIC LIFETIME EXPULSION
Any NFL player, coach, executive, owner, staff member, or other league-affiliated individual who is convicted of qualifying domestic violence or abuse would face permanent expulsion from the NFL and NFLPA and permanent ineligibility for future NFL-related employment or official participation.
NEW PROTECTIONS FOR WOMEN
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Credible allegations of domestic abuse, violence, threats, harassment, or stalking trigger an immediate independent investigation and appropriate interim safety measures.
2. Automatic Expulsion After a Qualifying Finding
A qualifying criminal conviction or other clearly defined final adjudication for serious domestic violence would result in permanent expulsion.
3. No Return. No Second Chances Within the NFL.
A lifetime ban would cover playing, coaching, ownership roles, scouting, league employment, official broadcasting positions, league-sponsored camps and other official NFL activities.
4. Protect the Survivor, Not the Player
Safety, privacy and well-being of survivors come first. No intimidation, retaliation, silencing or victim-blaming.
5. Independent Investigations
Cases should be reviewed by qualified investigators who operate independently from individual teams and football operations.
6. Mandatory Education
Players, coaches, executives and staff receive continuing education concerning domestic violence, healthy relationships, consent, intervention and reporting responsibilities.
7. Report. Support. Protect.
Confidential reporting mechanisms should be available to victims, witnesses, teammates and employees. Retaliation against someone who makes a good-faith report would itself carry serious consequences.
8. Financial Accountability
League policy could establish survivor-support funds and other lawful financial accountability mechanisms while preserving victims’ ability to pursue remedies through the courts.
9. Support for Survivors
Fund shelters, counseling, legal assistance, relocation assistance, safety planning and long-term recovery resources.
10. Transparency & Public Accountability
Publish meaningful information about investigations, disciplinary decisions and enforcement while protecting survivor privacy and respecting due process.
DOMESTIC ABUSE IS NOT A PRIVATE MATTER.
It can be a crime.
It destroys lives.
It has no place in professional sports.
OUR PLEDGE
NO ABUSE.
NO VIOLENCE.
NO EXCUSES.
WE STAND WITH SURVIVORS.
WE PROTECT WOMEN.
WE CHOOSE RESPECT.
ONE GAME. ONE LEAGUE. ONE STANDARD.
RESPECT WOMEN. PROTECT LIVES. REJECT CRUELTY.
