The Bears actually have an out on Swifts contract this offseason (would be a $1.3 mill cap hit instead of $8.8 mill in '26). And even though his cap hit is pretty reasonable ..... the Bears are already NEGATIVE $10 mill in cap space for 2026 🤷🏼♂️.
Its possible they take the cap savings & go with Monangai (extremely low cap hit at $1 mill from being a 7th rd pick on a rookie deal)/Roschon Johnson ($1.3 mill cap hit)/& draft a RB so they have another on a rookie deal (have picks in each rd in rds 1-5 & multiple rd 7 picks).
But the also may restructure Swifts contract 🤷🏼♂️

Not much fanfare? If you’re not a Bears fan or a Rutgers fan you had no idea who he was, us Bears fans could not wait to see him in regular season! This mo fo is a mini Priest Holmes and hasn’t fumbled in last 6 years! 1 full NFL season and 5 NCAA seasons without a fumble…..
