NFL teams hold onto college scouting reports way longer than the public sometimes thinks. Jordan James was considered a legit 2nd/3rd round talent by experts such as Dane Brugler. He fell in the draft the way many of the 2025 RB class fell - due to lots of flavors of depth at the position (and the hard reality that most teams do not need to leave the draft having picked an RB). Not saying James is a lock to get the keys here, but he’s more talented than people probably realize
