"The steps that he was taking by the midpoint in the season really made us feel good about what the back half of the year was going to be on both sides of the ball and what that impact was going to look like being a feature point on offense and an impact player on defense" - Gladstone, end of season press conference

I’m not sure the Jags franchise has any clue what they’re doing given some of their moves. But the idea that they traded a bunch of assets to move up and take a good, not great, corner is hard to believe, even for them.
There is just no way they don’t do everything in their power to see what he can do at WR while his contract is cheap.

Rotoballer cannot be trusted, they post to make you doubt. Camp ⛺️ reps are more truth telling and week 1 tells more…. Back half of the season will be the REAL PROOF 👀

I could be wrong, but my thought is that wide receiver is objectively a more valuable position, and with BTJ trade rumors, Meyers likely to start fading at this point in his career, and Washington only on contract for 1 more year, this reciever core could very suddenly rely on Hunter

Stop giving up on him after just one yr. A lot of good players struggle in their rookie yr but then end up having great careers.

Travis did it to himself. He wanted to play both sides of the ball. Now, he’s average at both. That’s how it works. He’s now an afterthought. Bye.

The Jags traded high to go after Hunter NOT to be a full time CB, this report makes no sense and whomever is spreading these rumors are jags.
