The jags really put themselves in a bind. It didn’t help that BTJ had some injuries and scheme fit issues last season. But the Jags went and traded up for a WR and signed a serviceable WR . Regardless of what Washington’s role is going forward, they aren’t acting like a team which views BTJ as part of their future. The longer they hold onto him without actually using him, the more his value plummets.
Unless there is no market for him (unlikely), i think they have to move him… probably during or before the draft. At this point they should be able to get a 2nd round pick given his age. Or maybe swap him for a young player on defense or help on the O line. The Jags view themselves as playoff and perhaps even more contenders in a fairly wide open AFC. It would be quite a blunder for them to blow this opportunity to set their team up for sustained success.

It's hard to trust in TLaw bc he doesn't seem to trust in BTJ. Between the drops and the hospital balls across the middle, they better figure it out with a full off-season under Liam to work through (if they decide to keep him) 🙏
