What SF doesn’t want to say is they wanted Mac in the draft, dove on Lance and failed. Now they have him and he actually looks good in their system and they regret giving Purdy the stars and moon. So they’re holding him and not saying the obvious, which is they wish they could just Sam Darnold this thing and not have to pay extreme dollars for QB, which would allow them to go crazy on the rest of the roster spending.
In short: just get rid of Purdy 😂
