Dear Jared Goff,
I hope this letter finds you well, because I regret to inform you that I am not.
On what was supposed to be a joyful Christmas, filled with happiness, food, and maybe a Lions win, you chose chaos. While I sat there believing—believing—you threw passes that haunted my living room and crushed my holiday spirit faster than leftover eggnog gets warm.
I told my family, “Don’t worry, Jared’s got this.”
That is a sentence I will now be reflecting on for the rest of the year.
Instead of Christmas magic, I received interceptions. Instead of cheer, confusion. Instead of a win, emotional damage. My festive mood vanished somewhere between the missed reads and the turnovers, and now my Christmas memory includes staring at the TV in disbelief while my relatives slowly backed away from me.
