Do people not realize Wright and Gordon are different types of RB? Wright is like Achane, small and fast. Gordon is the bruiser back. In a game where Achane gets hurt and the game plan was built around him going in, it’s much easier to just slot in the guy that fits that role. If they know Achane is out ahead of time, it could be Wright or it could very well be Gordon, but I’d bet it’s more of a split anyways.
