he didn't get surgery until Feb 20, the absolute minimum time frame he will need is 6 months before any orthopedic surgeon will sign off on his full release. I am willing to bet that after he misses the 1st four weeks due to being on IR, he has a shot to return at some point soon after that. I am guessing they will be somewhat conservative with him and have him return week 6-7, which will put him around 8 months post op. Him doing rehab prior to surgery was probably beneficial to him as well.
