All I can say here is that this incident requires a full on investigation. A PE is life threatening.

Serena Williams and Chris Olave overcame a DVT that reached their lungs (a PE). It was provoked (caused by trauma) and he is expected to make a full recovery. This isn’t an unprovoked Chris Bosch situation.
Other notable similar/identical situations with successful careers after thinners; David Andrews, Russel Okung, and Taylor Moton. Not PE, but returned to their career; Damian Lillard and Victor Wembanyama.
