Kyler is far from a sure option the way some people act like. He was so bad that his previous team was willing to eat his huge contract just to get rid of him. It could work out, could not. JJ McCarthy is also still super young and could still develop and get better after a few injury riddled seasons to start his career. The entire Vikings QB situation is much more volatile than how cut and dry some people think.
