Kind of think BRob may be more than a “stash” going forward. CMC has probably the worst overall run game efficiency in the NFL considering his opportunities. J. Taylor has 9 more carries this season than CMC… and 500 MORE YARDS RUSHING. CMC managing a pitiful 3.5 ypc. Maybe 9ers run scheme and blocking is just that bad? Doesn’t seem to be hurting Brob’s production. Brob’s sample size is now getting meaningful 49 carries for 238 yards =4.9 YPC. He also has the 9ers 3 longest runs of the season. CMC is “the brand” so it’d be a real tough business decision to let Brob take over 1st and 2nd down essentially calling him “the starter”, letting CMC be primarily a passing down back. But it’s getting harder and harder to deny this is what would be ideal for 9ers to compete.
