Has any QB in recent memory had so many excuses made for his poor performance and failure to win? It’s always “Well…his O-Line sucks” or “He needs a receiver”. Meanwhile Star QBs find a way to succeed in similar circumstances. Maybe Herbert is simply an average QB.

As a Chargers fan for over 35 years, its not Herbert , it's the organization. They have no clue how to maximize the personel. They brought in an offensive coach that thinks he's still in Miami. Trick plays ain't the answer
