In a cowboys fan so I see Pickens and lamb schemed open on the same offense and it happens all the time with chase and Higgins. I watched the chargers pretty often this year considering I had QJ and Omarion Hampton. They schemed away from this guy pretty bad and often times it even seemed as if Herbert purposely refrained from throwing to him in a few cases when he was wide open. A lot of his “drops” are bad passes all together that just get tossed up for grabs. I think he has a lot of talent but the play calling was against him

To be fair he’s gotten better each of his seasons as a pro after a poor 1st season. Still far from an exciting option though
