oh THIS was the "second surgery". i strained my MCL (grade 2) and forwent surgery. my knee healed well but I did develop scar tissue and it's ever so much stiffer than before. the doctor's said if I were to get a cleanup surgery I could be running within the month.
That being said this isn't a "second surgery" in the same way it would be if he needed another repair. it doesn't add to his recovery timeline much at all
