Cody Barton

Barton joined his fourth team in as many years this offseason, but he should stick in Tennessee for a significant period after inking a three-year, $21 million deal. The stat sheet doesn't necessarily reflect it, but he enjoyed something of a breakout year in 2024. He tallied a career-high 996 defensive snaps, with an expanded role as both a pass rusher and in coverage. Although he has allowed a 106.2 passer rating during his career, his landing spot suggests he should be a near every-down player. The Titans have struggled to find consistent middle linebacker play since Azeez Al-Shaair's brief stint with the team, something they appear to be trying to remedy by adding Barton.
