Cooper had a career-high 1,250 receiving yards in 2023, his ninth NFL season, but then fell off a cliff in 2024 and finished with 547 yards in 14 games for the Browns and Bills. He wasn't even a full-time player after getting traded from Cleveland to Buffalo in mid-October, playing less than 55 percent of snaps in each of his eight regular-season games (2.5 catches for 37.1 yards) and three playoff contests (2.0 catches for 13.7 yards). Cooper will turn 31 this summer and remain unsigned through the first, second and third waves of free agency, which isn't a good sign regarding how NFL teams view him and his 2024 film, although it is possible salary demands are the bigger issue. Whatever the case, Cooper figures to sign somewhere eventually, with his viability as a late-round fantasy pick depending on his next team's environment for passing production and competition for snaps/targets.
