Does anyone have any interesting tales of scams they have seen on Sleeper? I’m not asking for the purpose of being inspired, but legit curious…. When there is so much money passing through our hands surely there must be sketchy bastards who think they are smart enough to beat the system…

And if anybody does direct message it to him so it doesn't give anybody any ideas just a thought 😊

Only experience I had kinda like that was back in 2021. A dude on sleeper named Taco, not even kidding, started a $300 buyin league. I joined at random. Draft happened in June I think. 2 months later, before the season started, and trades HAD been made, the taco fella nuked the league and said he was tired of dealing with our shit. Haha 🤣 the league went bye bye … so it wasn’t a scam, but I think the man didn’t like his team and was sore about it.

But thanks to Leaguesafe and the likes, money seems to be pretty safe.

We drafted- he was the most eager beaver… and then he made a couple trades pre-season that he regretted and suddenly the league disappeared and we were all refunded
