Who could I trade Javon Baker for

I got him on the waiver wire recently and was thinking about sending him and Bateman for Josh Palmer

On paper it looks like I might lose, but I need to cut two players anyways so it frees up some space

This is dynasty btw, I’d look for league mates who haven’t caught wind of the news and go for something similar. Package him with a bad WR2 or good WR3 on a team for an underrated WR1

Palmer, Sutton, Kirk check out but you’re not getting any of them for Baker alone. In terms of draft capital, I don’t think you can get a second for him but maybe a 3rd

I’m more so doing it to make my roster cut easier, on face value I lose a bit

That’s pretty drastic man, Bateman is the third target on a team with a running qb and he gets injured a ton and hasn’t done anything in his three years in the league

Palmers the WR1 for Herbert as of now unless QJ can make a miracle turn around

I agree. Cobb webs are part of it. I guess it is too early to be completely out on him just because of that. Pats passing game is a little rough for now though.

He was drafted as a project.... not sure why recent news should affect his value much? It would be like dropping Penix value cuz he's not starting - you knew that was the case when you picked him!

I have Maye on that same dynasty team so I am giving Baker the benefit of the doubt plus I got him on the waiver wire so it doesn’t cost me much

I do like the stack with Maye potentially, but it’s concerning

Yea honestly preseason news is usually reactionary. Even if Thorton’s ahead for now, it won’t be for long.

It could be a nice pairing with Maye especially, so I’ll probably ride it out. There’s no doubt he’s talented and I can see his alpha swagger already. He could really demand targets, he just needs to get used to the stage.
