This was not a power move or any other contrived internet scenario. It was a common sense decision that will likely help Gordon, on his own, decide to return sooner than later. It gives Gordon the opportunity to see for himself how other teams(trading partners) value him, and likely discover that the Chargers offer was top end

Most scholarships go to WEALTHY AFFLUENT FAMILIES not the poor poverty stricken kids who need it. Almost all the top athletes on scholarship were RICH. Obviously you have your special skilled poor black boy from the hood who gets theirs but most players are influenced by their mommy and daddy’s checkbooks. For the ones that can’t afford food, gas or a nice suit I truly PITY these universities for their THEFT, FRAUD, DECEPTION & RACKETEERING.
