Daniel Popper of @TheAthletic believes the three WRs used in 11 personnel packages for the LA Chargers will be: Joshua Palmer, rookie Ladd McConkey, and DJ Chark. Leaving out last year’s 21st overall pick, Quentin Johnston 😳
Johnston played 17 games last season and never really had a good game to show you any signs of potential.
By who?
QJ is a bust unfortunately. Bricks for hands
Look at his drops. Its simple over the head tracking that he has trouble with.
You don't even know me dude. I dont remember any sports media calling Love bad before he even started playing.
I am worried some. He can play but clearly drafting slow white dude who catches is more problematic
Chark ain’t it
The only thing you know about me is that I spend my Sat in July talking football to strangers. How does that sound like a casual fan?

QJ was apart of a weak class and had more bust potential then blow up potential so idk why you guys are trashing him so much. Guys bust all the time. Oh well🤷🏼♂️
Why are you wasting your time in the day trashing young kids because they didnt live up to your standards or potential for the kid?
You just went out of your way to list a bunch of players you think were bigger busts then him. If you own QJ in a few dynasty leagues just admit it. It's ok

We evaluate potential on what you do not what we hope you will do. My early thoughts are I made a mistake taking him. It could be. Nice gamble picking up cheap shares though

QJ is a bust. Plain and simple.
Yeah and so far it's looking like Ruggs will have a better career than QJ. In the limited time we saw Ruggs play he was solid. QJ hasn't even had a good game yet

I just want to know how bad a player has to look in their rookie year for you to consider them a bust.
Brendan Rice over qj
QJ was a raw prospect who was always gonna take some molding. The drops are ugly though.
I'd say it's unfair if he got hurt but he played 17 games
Not sure the chargers will put him a position to succeed though
And if LAC bench him with this WR room then obviously year 2 is off to a rough start
Anyone thinking that is dumb, chark is dog shit, Johnston still rough around the edges but he hasn’t had a true spot yet or a true chance to prove himself
Chark had tons of opportunities to stay healthy and get production but he’s nothing more than a deep threat and not a fast one at that
Best of the chargers receivers are still gunna be not great since harbaugh gunna run the high school styler wishbone and run it up the gut every play
