Chiefs survey fans on new stadium or Arrowhead renovations after Royals tax rejection

The Kansas City Chiefs have initiated a survey to collect feedback on the possibility of building a new stadium or further renovating GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. After a sales tax proposal to fund a new downtown ballpark for the Kansas City Royals and enhancements for Arrowhead Stadium was rejected by Jackson County, Missouri residents in April, the Chiefs are reconsidering their options ahead of their lease expiration at Truman Sports Complex in 2031. CSL International has been hired to conduct market research, and surveys are being sent to local residents and attendees of Chiefs games or events at Arrowhead Stadium. The team is exploring potential locations in both Missouri and Kansas, with additional survey access available online for those not emailed directly.
