It’s looking more and more likely…
The #Patriots have signed LB Jack Gibbens to a one-year deal, per @JFowlerESPN. Gibbens was in for a visit today and New England clearly did not want to let him leave without a deal being signed. The former Titan accumulated 167 tackles over the first 3 seasons of his career.
The #Patriots met with LB Jeffrey Bassa while at Oregon’s Pro Day, per @TonyPauline. Bassa, a projected Day 2 pick, stands at 6’1 232-pounds and is the ideal linebacker mold for a Mike Vrabel defense. The former safety was the undisputed leader of Oregon’s star-studded defense.
The #Patriots met with RB Jordan James ahead of Oregon’s Pro Day, per @TonyPauline. The 5’9 205-pound back is known for his physicality, lateral quickness and ability to turn short receptions out of the backfield into yards after the catch. Eliot Wolf was notably in attendance.
Should New England hold onto Joe Milton this season or should he be traded after Josh Dobbs signed a 2-year deal?
Free agent LB Jack Gibbens is visiting the #Patriots today, per @kguregian. Gibbens played for Mike Vrabel in Tennessee after being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022. If all goes well, there’s a possibility he strikes a deal with New England today.
#Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne, who is further removed from his ACL tear, is looking much more explosive. Players coming back from an ACL injury tend to have a dip in production their first season back, so expect Bourne to have a bounce back year on the way. (🎥 @BournePoly11 IG)
