Its a free kick. So essentially its either fg or kickoff depending on if he makes it

So every kickoff doesn’t allow this? Why don’t kickers just try to make it? I’m lost lol

Ok the chargers had posession of the ball so they took a free kick. Now it can either be a feild goal or you just turn it over to the other team. Thats why its not common because most teams dont wanna risk not making it and giving the ball up
