From an article at the beginning of the season lmao Najee Harris has been outspoken for years about how NFL teams value running backs, and earlier this spring, he found out first-hand when the Steelers declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. Speaking for the first time since the Steelers made their decision in early May, Harris remains vocal on the treatment he and his fellow peers receive. However, he admitted there is little he can do to change how league decision-makers feel about the position. “I wouldn’t say devalued,” Harris said Wednesday as the Steelers reported to Saint Vincent College for the first day of training camp. “They’re only devalued when it comes time to pay. They’re not devalued, though, if you look around. There are games where I literally carry the offense. @cbailey01 in our league we have it set as -1 for a fumble and another -1 for lose of possession. That’s why I don’t understand why he didn’t get charged with a fumble
