Falcons activate Lorenzo Carter from IR, add Jakeem Grant to practice squad, release Tyreek Maddox-Williams

The Atlanta Falcons have designated outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter to return from injured reserve, allowing a three-week period for practice before reinstating him to the active roster. They have also signed wide receiver Jakeem Grant to the practice squad and released linebacker Tyreek Maddox-Williams to make space. Lorenzo Carter originally joined the Falcons on a one-year contract in 2022 and subsequently extended for two more years. In 2024, Carter participated in six games, accumulating 15 total tackles.
