Along with Steele, Samaje Perine -- who played nine of 65 snaps in Week 2 -- should take on extra work, though the Chiefs may prefer to deploy Perine as more of a change-of-pace or passing-down back. Kansas City will almost certainly add another running back or two to the 53-man roster before Sunday's game in Atlanta to help replace Pacheco, making it difficult to project what exactly Steele's role might look like.
