45 minutes, literally going into OT toe to toe with a lottery team as the worst starter on his team with the smallest +/- of any of the other starters and more turn overs than STOCKs. Assists don’t mean much when you are the center of every play, and rebounds are one of the most meaningless stats that people include in the big 3. Watch the game and over half of them were easy defensive rebounds he was assigned to stay back and grab or his teammates letting him grab. Needed OT to hit these numbers and was 1 point in regulation away from losing the game and having a negative impact on the court with a +/- of -1. Yes, it was a good game. Assists and rebounds aren’t totally meaningless, and this is an impressive feat despite needing OT to barely scrape this in all 3 categories. But yall gotta stop gassing this like it’s an MVP case, he had the worst impact on the floor of any of the starters and almost lost to a lottery team.
