After reading WSJ & nyt articles it **seems** like the theory is gambling ring had inside contact who knew something about Rozier, not that Rozier was working w/them. That'd sure make more sense with him making so much more than Porter to where it makes no sense. Extortion always a third possibility (e.g. "Terry we know you're doing____ (something scandalous) so help us gamble or else"etc) but seems pretty unlikely lol

The biggest thing is that NBA has said they've already concluded investigation into Rozier & the game in question and they found sus betting but zero link to Terry himself. They prob wouldn't wanna say this publicly *now* unless they were pretty confident because otherwise PR nightmare (everyone'd see NBA as sweeping under the rug, preferential treatment vs Jontay, and like that)
