Chat room 💬 What does Sam Darnold have to do in order to get a contract extension with Minnesota?
Nothing he can’t
Be 6 years younger. One season doesn't make you a star. Ask Miami, Jacksonville and San Francisco how they feel about their QBs...
Nfc championship
Chip
Win a playoff game and don’t lose out
Win the SB
He can’t get an extension… The Vikings need to have their starting QB in a rookie deal or backup money to stay competitive and be able to sign CBs and a DT! He has done great though!
nothing Atlanta was thinking of having Michael Penixsit on the bench for 3 years or so before cousins crapped outso I really think he deserves at least a two-year extension JJ McCarthy may beat him out in training camp which I doubt but then they have a solid backup if McCarthy doesn't develop as expected early in the season

Honestly I don’t see why they wouldn’t extend him n trade McCarthy
Superbowl
Should need nothing more. At least one playoff win will clinch the extension though.
Do it without JJ
Good games and a sb appearance
Sell his soul
Beat Seattle in Seattle with them both fighting for the division
McCarthy a bust
Let JJ diddy him 🤷🏽♂️
And a cheater
Franchise tag
A bunch of inappropriate behavior with multiple masseuses seems to do it.

The Vikings will keep Sam if he takes less money. I can see the Vikings keeping him at an upper 20 to low end 30 mil contract. I see him getting about 10 mil more from someone else though.
Darnold will get a 50 million a year contract but not with the vikings
