See my comment above about jets fans choosing to make excuses rather than holding the organization accountable. If it were different than maybe the team wouldn’t be a joke

Notice how other functional franchises make the same trades but agree to terms ahead of time when they know there’s a contract dispute. They don’t just cry that the world is unfair

He wasn’t a free agent he was a disgruntled employee they chose to trade for without handling said grievance ahead of time and hoping he’d just “show up”
