Butker said a ton a bizarre stuff in his rambling speech, but you all only read the headlines

about how he thought a college commencement address was the right time to tell the women in the audience that it’s okay to be a housewife

Giving a militant religious diatribe at a militant religious college generally will result in praise inside that bubble.

Is he allowed to state those beliefs? Sure, freedom of speech. Should he be subject to backlash from the public for this, yes freedom of speech.
