Dynasty league help: This is our second year doing a dynasty league and first year drafting just rookies: Do undrafted rookies become free agents after the NFL draft or do they still go in the rookie draft pool? When do you guys hold your rookie draft? After the draft? Before pre season? After preseason Can we adjust our roster slots for rookies (raise them) and then re adjust to allow our teams to see what they are getting during preseason. Like the NFL where they have expanded rosters during camp and preseason?

I run a 10 team dynasty league. 10 active starters. 12 bench. 3 ir. 5 taxi. After the superbowl free agency is blocked. We have our rookie draft the Saturday after the NFL draft. The 11th I believe for this year.(rookies only) after the rookie draft I open up free agency. We use faab. We get 100 in the offseason and 100 during season. During the offseason waivers are processed daily at midnight.

I remove ir slots during offseason and add an additional 10 bench spots for rookies and free agents. After the final preseason games, everyone is required to place the rookies they want on their taxi squad in place and must cut the remaining players to get into the roster limit.

Our rookie draft is 5 rounds and linear. We use up most of the rookies coming in so there arent many that make an impact in free agency

I'm not holding my rookie/FA draft till end of July which is right before preseason begins. We want to see what happens in training camp first. All undrafted rookies will be free agents. We use $100 FAAB for reg season waivers and there are never any free agent claims.

We try to play it similar to the NFL and it also gives those who work harder an advantage lol
