@TIPS it’s a good trade because the 26 is his. Which means likely the 1.01 When you grade out the values, it actually is pretty spot on, and with Malik (who is a perfect prospect for his team) it’s actually a bit in his favor
Figuring JT is around the 1.05 this year and Jacobs near the 1.12. Getting the 1.08 and next year’s 1.01-1.02 with a young talented receiver who likely won’t hit for a year is a very good trade.

Ultimately I think JT is worth 1.05 + a late 2nd, which is not Malik's value. I understand the 1.01 in 2026 is possible, but not guaranteed. Unless ST's team is absolute slobbery dog water
ST might be S.O.L. for another couple years unless he sells his player for cheeeeeeeeap
He also has no picks of value until 28
He’s likely SOL anyways, but I’ve been at least trying to get him a head start with the few remaining assets he’s got that do him zero good

Aside from Jacobs and JT, he has Pickens and Reed and almost nothing else in (I believe) a 10-teamer.

So I guess getting your own pick back in this situation is helpful, but it sounds like it was instantly declined, which I fully understand (that's why I said no to my guy when I had his pick)
All that’s left is middling QBs (in a 1-qb) and middling TEs and the guys I mentioned

He does have Love, Nix, and Kraft, so may not need to put a lot in those areas, but they’re not going to be strong enough to compete given the rest.
