This one right here is what people have a hard time accepting Your team is good but not good enough and getting older. You're a middling team You might have one more run in you but I can't imagine you winning it. This is when people have a hard time accepting they need to blow their roster up and rebuild. The good thing is is that you have a lot of talent that is worth high value but none of the value is right now It is only during the season or after the draft.

The other good part is that the next two drafts look good enough right now that you can rebuild within 2 years minimum as long as you make the right moves.

Actually had an offer for Penix, 1.03, and a WR (can’t remember who it was, but a starter.)

What would you look for in trading Hurts?

Then I’d bottom out while building my QBs, WRs and TEs (no RBs effectively tanks you to improve next year’s cap) throughout the year, always making trades and incremental improvements (while also including prospects in trades and off WW). If you do it effectively, you should roll into next year with a shitload of draft picks and solid pillars at WR/QB/TE and a few potential prospects at RB. Then you just use that Cap to trade for and draft the remaining holes and BAM, it’s like a brand new team

The thing is is that JT Jacobs they're all going to be worth a first and some more after the season starts So I don't know if I would trade any of them for the value they are right now. Not to mention the talent in this draft is just if you're not getting running back and you're not getting one of the top wide receivers I'm passing on everything

Like during the season I could get probably a first and somebody like Pickens for JT from the right team same thing with Jacobs Right now you're getting a pic that could turn into something

Jacobs I’m worried is going to get company, and had JT not saved his season at the end, you’d already be looking at selling very low on him.

I traded for him last year ina few rebuilds. For the sole purpose that they’re competitive toilet bowls. I got him cuz he was cheap and I was playing for the #1

Since I gut my RBs first in a rebuild, I gotta buy cheap backs to compete for the picks

I think I will hold and see what comes to me before pulling the trigger on any trade. See what comes to me at 2.04. Hope I can find a WR/RB that does well.

@LionsFan2337 Either way I think You could easily get a rid of a hurts for probably a bo Nix and first in 2027 or a starting caliber player like in a flowers or Olave. But I think Evans Smith McLaren those are all worth a first next year easily and possibly more like a third maybe a second upgrade from a third And I would even try to snipe a few players after the draft off of a team as a throw in That could potentially turn into something. JT and Jacobs I think You target maybe a tre Benson and a second or two right now but for next year the picks. for a tray Benson and a first. But you have so much talent on that roster that you could command first for just about everybody and if you're holding like six first next year you've got all your starters still sitting there in picks. I would just be trying to snipe players with any trade that could potentially break out or could become a starter

Then see how the season starts and I expect JT and Jacobs to have some big games, to have higher trade value
