Well, think about it value wise if you will. I think Nix and Purdy will be similar throughout their careers, of course, im just a random guy on the internet but thats my 2 cents. Zay Flowers is a MASSIVE (iykyk) upgrade over Coker. Laporta is a nice buy low, and id personally rather him then McBride.

Its less risky for you too, hes banking on the fact that Nix will be good enough to even this trade out.

@LilGrinder I agree completely plus it’s always better to have quality bench players bc then u can buy a high tier rb if needed for a bench player

Thats exactly my thought process, keep the depth throughout the offseason, and if youre a big contendor move a couple of them for an aging RB or WR

Thanks guys @LilGrinder @HOFFIS1 my main objective was to add depth, and here with Zay is doing that, plus I wanna bolster my receiving core. And I value Purdy and nix the same but I’m a purdy truther, think he’ll land a contract, and Laporta and McBride are just as good as one another in my personal opinion. Thanks a lot

@jkalle for what it’s worth, I’d lean Nix and McBride. Nix looked like a great rookie QB with not many weapons around him. McBride was TE2 on the season with 2 touchdowns all season. He is a primary weapon in that offense. Purdy is kinda meh for me and Laporta is in an offense that has too many mouths to feed. Zay is a pretty mid receiver. He’s the only clear upgrade in the trade, but it doesn’t move the needle enough to pass up on the upside of Nix and McBride.
