What I was wrong about: QB position in general: despite years of consistent evidence, this year appears to be the anomaly. With numerous QBs performing well above projections and numerous QBs just straight sucking, the delta at the position was larger than it has been in 5 years from top to bottom. While I was right on many QBs (both being better or worse than consensus), I was wrong on many too and wrong on the position entirely. Which was a HUGE difference maker in SF. TEs in general: while many of my predictions show signs of coming to fruition, I was of the mind that the position was saturated, and there would be little advantage in investing in it. While I was right because a lot of the bigger names did not produce consistently, I was wrong because there was a significant delta at the position for those that did.

Idc because no one helped me with my decision so I fucked up on my own. I knew Detroit defense was inferior to That of Pittsburgh. No one wanted to comment on my Burrow or Darnold start

It won’t let me post it alone, but: Players specifically (better than anticipated): Henry: not much needs to be said here. He’s clearly the second coming of Frank Gore (another player I constantly felt would fall off the cliff only to keep proving me wrong). Barkley: dude was seriously just fun to watch this year Godwin: at least till he got hurt…they weren’t joking that he’d be featured Shakir: I don’t think anyone was convinced Shakir would be the guy, as no one really knew who’d emerge, but a tip of the hat here Shaheed: until injury, I figured he was plucky, but with Olave battling injury, Shaheed really showed up) Maye: looks better than I figured. My jury’s still out, but he may just pull through Jeudy: still won’t bring myself to put him on my team, but he played well and actually stayed mostly healthy Pollard: I still can’t believe Spears didn’t take over that backfield, but I may have been most wrong here. Herbert: still think this was for a lack of consistently good running game, but Herbert was better than anticipated (and so was QJ…still don’t trust him, but can’t argue with his good stretches). Dobbins: speaking of which, sincerely did not believe Dobbins could even do as much as he did Nix: numbers weren’t always there, but Nix looks damn good for a rookie. Gets way overshadowed by Daniels, but he’s one to watch. Sutton: was positive Sutton would fall by the wayside, but he’s produced a lot more than I thought he would.

Players worse than anticipated: The entire Panthers offense (specifically Young) The entire Jets offense: had moments of brilliance, but all around not consistent enough to be useful Spears: was convinced he’d take over that backfield. Whether due to injury or incompetent QB played, never really shined through Many rookie RBs: Benson, Corum, Vidal, Laube, Shipley (never really got a shot), Wright, Brooks…pretty much all but Tracy. Still some future value there, but…yeah JSN: did end the season taking over quite a bit, but too little, too late Deebo Samuel: despite having a legit shot at being “the guy”, really never did anything Zay Flowers: played pretty well, but did not take the step I anticipated Tillman: showed the reasons I was high on him, but injury put a halt to momentum Worthy: while came on late, has not been what o anticipated Mims: more flashes, but absolutely no consistency to that offense Estime/McL/Williams: almost nothing I anticipated with that backfield came true. Flashes for all of them, but nothing with any level of consistency leading to points on the bench. Jonathon Taylor: total inconsistency at QB, and inconsistency when he was featured made JT a tough player to own ETN: no idea what happened to this dude. Incompetent offense, better play from Bigsby, and ineffective play from ETN made for a terrible player to own.

my list isn't complete but I missed on some of the same, the Jets, Benson and Corum, Deebo, the Denver backfield, I made what has so far been a pretty bad trade for Williams last off season, I am not a JT guy so... also had a higher value on Shakir than most, but wouldn't have bet on him doing what he did, I liked Maye and expected Herbert to be better than projected but again wouldn't have bet.... I got Nix and Sutton off waivers in a 14 team redraft league, because of injuries, not because I'm that smart, and I'm a Saquon truther so... that's just a few

Good stuff. I'll say you were spot on with the Penix take of him seeing the field which I disagreed with. didn't expect that at all considering the money tied to Kirk.

Say a prayer. Do some pushups. Run a mile 😂 you’re absolved of your bad bet sins. Try to bet on better player performance next year!

I think young did better than most people thought he would. Especially compared to last year and coming back after his benching. Looked like a brand new QB who understands nfl defences now
