Really not enjoying playing this game anymore! Been playing for what I consider to be quite a long time, more than 10 years. I’ll stay active and finish the year, out of consideration for my league mates. However, for me, what use to be fun, the game actually causes me stress and anxiety more often than not! The high of a win doesn’t come close to the feelings of a loss! Not a healthy hobby! I know I’ll get the ones here that call me a big Poon, and maybe deservedly so! However, I’m sure there are some that feel the same. Thank you to all that have offered your input over the years, and I wish you all the best!

I feel you. There was a time a few years ago where it definitely took a toll on me given the stress. Definitely had to change my mindset and not take it too seriously and just enjoy the ride. If need to take a break for a season definitely do it for yourself

Honestly, if its something you don't enjoy, it's okay to take a break and find another hobby. Personally I LOVE fantasy football but some seasons i tried to play in more than one league, some with randoms, and it felt more like a job managing all that shit than actual fun. Staying with my home grown league has been much more rewarding due to IRL bragging rights. Good luck and hopefully the 49ers can turn it around.

Ive definitely felt this way too - fantasy seems to have a lot of the same dynamics as gambling, so if it's taking an unhealthy toll on you, props for handling it! Hope you get back to a place where you can enjoy fantasy for what it is, even in losses.
