He's likely going to be eliminated this week but he's trying to trade Christian McCaffrey to a 4-7 team that is just 2 spots out from a playoff spot. He has a stacked team but keeps taking L's. However the league feels like adding Christian McCaffrey to his team would make it unfair. He's trying to trade Jonathan Taylor and Patrick Mahomes for CMC. The league has vetoed the trade 3 times and they continue to propose the trade. Vetoing trades is so soft

The trade should not be vetoed. Especially if its because people dont think its "fair". Your crybaby league needs to grow up.

The trade in itself isn’t bad actually. Not egregious at all. I get the sentiment of not having the last team trade. We make a rule, once you are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs you can’t trade - but unless that’s a rule - I don’t think you veto

We don’t have a trade deadline. I’ve liked not having one; keep’s eliminated teams engaged. Eliminated teams could make a trade to gain a lot of value for next season

There would be no reason to even bring up a veto in a dynasty league

Shouldn’t veto but you should ask them to not return next yr if you don’t like how they act once they are eliminated

Managers are allowed to finish in the best way possible. There’s a deadline for a reason. What teams do in that time is up to them. Also maybe 7-7 is enough🤷🏽‍♂️

On top of all that Mahommes and Taylor are garbage this szn. They aren’t making anyone better

I have a trade deadline in my dynasty leagues. I keep it at week 14 which is the latest you can manually set it in the settings. I do this so teams that are or aren’t contending have to make their moves they want before the deadline, or after the season. This also stops contending tesms from just trying to absolutely sell all their picks the closer it gets to the finals. Sometimes I’ve seen players try to sell a bunch of picks to make a chip run, they fail, and next year they hit you with the “sorry I have too many leagues” snd leave that team in shambles for the future

But you have to make it known in your league that there is a deadline. If you don’t have one set you can’t just be like “we don’t actually have a trade deadline set, but you’re not allowed to make that trade bc it’s so late in the season”

if your deadline has not passed yet then the trade should go through, end of story

if youre tbe commish you need to gst it together, this is not a question you should ave to ask... A. only time to veto a trade is when tbere is obvious collusion B. commish should have sole veto power C. if you dont have a rule against it, its legal
