What do we think about Sean Tucker as a dynasty stash/sleeper?
How do we feel about Sean Tucker? I will admit, I was was wrong about Rachaad White going into last season...sort of? White was force fed the ball last year, and volume is king for fantasy production, however nearly every advanced metric says he is average or below when carrying the football (great pass catcher though) With a new regime in place could we see more of a committee approach? At worst what are our thoughts on Whites handcuff? Edmonds did okay with limited touches last year. I really liked Irving coming into the league, but his combine performance was lack luster. (Shouldn't value the combine too much) My question is, does Sean Tucker hold any value? Does he have any path towards being a sleeper/stash candidate in dynasty? I also really liked Tucker coming into the league, but a freak heart condition caused him to go undrafted. Tucker is explosive, an elite pass catcher, and has the college production. He is however not the best pass blocker, and he has hardly gotten a chance (around 20-30 carries; horrid production) Should we write Sean Tucker off? What am I missing here?
Loved him at Syracuse but he’s likely irrelevant due to health concerns
I was high on him last year, thought he was the 3rd/4th best back in the class before he went undrafted and I drafted him in the 3rd round.
He’s gonna sit on my taxi squad this year, if he doesn’t at least win the backup job against Bucky Irving, I would say it’s safe to cut bait on him
Last year he didn’t have a full offseason to work out so, we’ll see how he does this year. Totally unfortunate situation for him though, I feel like he has the talent, but it’s an uphill battle being undrafted along with the medical concerns and or restrictions
@BSHU07 this is where I am at as well, I do think Irving poses a big obstacle for Tucker. I know it's only July, but haven't heard a lick about Tucker since last season, I wonder if more is going on behind the scenes holding him back than the public is aware. Hope he gets a shot to atleast show if he can ball or not
Yeah, I actually googled him the other day to see if I could find something. I do think he was a much better prospect than Irving coming out and has an extra year in the NFL going for him. Surprised I haven’t heard anything either.. I just know it’s really hard for undrafted guys to win out over drafted or signed guys due to investment validations.
But yeah maybe there is something else going on. Bc he hasn’t popped up in anything this offseason
How does ST’s college production compare to Irving’s? Not sure I agree ST was a “much better prospect coming out.”
I guess I’m just off TB for the most part. I will take Evans or Godwin in bestball, but that’s about it.
I don’t expect them to be very good this year. But production is production and there is nothing wrong with stashing a long shot to see if he pops up.
Hell, I have deneric Prince stashed 😅
@ChefBoyRPete Sean Tucker is dust. Their usage of him last year should tell you everything you need to know
Bucky had great film too but his size/speed was subpar, which is why he fell.
Give it one more year with him before I totally wrote him off. Most wrs ether make the jump in 1st or 2nd year or they don't make it
I Picked him over Puca he haunts me
I think he’s droppable.
Was worth a stash as a backup until they drafted Bucky Irving. Tucker was a uDFA, they took Bucky in 4th, tucker is rb3 behind 2 young players. Ditch him.
Who is next on the “we are bored so let’s talk about this guy” list?
Roster clog
He’s the rb3 on the bucs. That should tell you everything you need to know. They even drafted a rb in Irving you replace him
I really loved him outta college, but I don't see him being viable ever. I held him for a year.
White is a garden variety avg RB, and could not get beat out.
