HELP, I’m in a 1 keeper redraft league, and last year I had both Jefferson and Amon Ra. Now that Kirk is gone, do we know for sure that Jefferson is going to have the same output he used to have? I’m almost thinking Amon Ra is the safer option with his consistency and QB play, but I know he doesn’t have the same ceiling level. Who do I keep?

Dude was winning when attempting less than 10 passes in a game

jimmikmik 3 months ago

He’s elite at handing the ball off. Extremely raw as a passer and operator of a real offense

jimmikmik 3 months ago

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think a rookie QB has EVER produced a top 5 WR

At the end of the day it’s honestly a matter of how big of a sack you have😂

Jettas had over 1000 yds, missed time and did that with Mullens and Dobbs last year. Darnold and McCarthy have to at least be as good as Mullens/Dobbs.

I feel we say that every year about these nebulous QB situations... And they're often worse lol

Can't get worse than worse.... Until we get to worst

@goron352 exactly. The only up from here mentality just isn’t a fair assumption

jimmikmik 3 months ago

We said that about DJ Moore every single year in Carolina

thesandlotking 3 months ago

For the record, I don’t like to make big risks in the 1st round so I’d pick St. Brown. But I do think Jettas is one of those guys that would elevate his QB.

jimmikmik 3 months ago

Said it last year for Garrett Wilson

goron352 3 months ago

I think people discount team continuity as well. Give me Darnold as a back up last year then a starter this year, sure. That's an easier pill to swallow. But fresh to the system and unproven in general... Meh. And I actually like McCarthy, it's just a hard argument when we're considering elite vs elite wr

I’m curious. How many times do you think a Michigan pass catcher eclipsed 100 yards in a game last year,

?

Also y'all, so appreciate the civil discourse. Hard to come by nowadays

Prolly none lol McCarthy is super unproven and may end up complete garbage ... But he showed some promise on a very small sample

In games without Cousins, JJ has averaged 93.5 yards per game and 6.3 catches per game- 2 tds in those games. I agree with you as a general rule of thumb when it comes to rookie qbs, but I don’t think JJ’s talent is factored in enough, for this specific scenario. Especially with those numbers with the likes of Mullens, Dobbs, Manion, and Jaren Hall throwing him the ball

FMattBryant 3 months ago

How ab saint brown?

FMattBryant 3 months ago

It’s a great debate

FMattBryant 3 months ago

I wouldnt take JJ at #1 either

justinthelen 3 months ago

It really is so close

FMattBryant 3 months ago
