12 Team PPR Dynasty Rookie Draft I have picks 1.08, 3.01, and 3.08 Most mocks I’ve gone for T.Benson at 1.08, J.Sanders at 3.01, and best WR at 3.08. Need opinions on better selections or sleepers for the 3rd round, or even potential trade packages if you’re generous like that. Current Team— QB: Lamar RBs: R.White, Ekeler, K.Miller, K.Mitchell, and K.Herbert WRs: Jefferson, Diggs, London, C.Kirk, Doubs, and J.Downs TE: Goedert

Lots of decent targets for RB in the third round. Sanders at 3.01 sounds about right.

Laube, Davis, Lloyd, Allen, Tracy, maybe Estime, IG

Lloyd and Allen most likely won’t fall but I do like Davis

Yeah…I listed them from where the trend sorta starts. Many of the people named may not fall that far

Will say if Burton is available in the 3rd, take him over all

I’ve seen him go anywhere from 1.10-3.06

And heard of him undrafted as well

So based on my team you think it’d be better to wait on RB and take a WR like McConkey or Thomas at 1.08? Benson doesn’t excite me that much there but Ekeler is on his way out and my depth is mid

Depends if you plan to contend. If you do, you need RB help and a better TE. But I’m mostly a “draft for value, trade for need” guy

I have Ladd/Worthy/BTJ over Brooks, and Coleman and Burton (even if I wouldn’t draft him here) over Benson

But I admit that Ladd/Worthy/BTJ/Brooks are all in one tier (meaning pick as you wish for preference) and the other 3 on the next tier

I appreciate the insight. I do plan to contend but it’s almost guaranteed Brooks won’t be there at 8 so I’m forced to reach on Benson or take Ladd/BTJ and hope Ekeler doesn’t retire or collapse mid season.

Just for comparison (I know every league is different). I got brooks at 1.06 (but took him over BTJ, and worthy and McConky so he may fall to 8. I got Roman Wilson at 2.10, Malachi at 3.04, Vidal at 3.07 and sanders at 4.02 12 team 1 QB

I get that but that’s like 5 picks early, I feel like you should find someone to trade back a little. That’s a huge reach imo 🤷🏻‍♂️

Go BPA for the 1.08. BTJ or Ladd imo. For the other 2 picks it just depends on who is available. later RBs I like are Tracy, Allen, and Davis. There should be a bunch of WRs. Franklin and Burton are two of my favorites that go a little later

I’ve been watching Brooks and Benson both creep up draft boards since the NFL draft. I attribute it to the wasteland that is the RB position after the top 6-7

Would try to package something together for a better RB. If you're competing, Henry might be a good target. I like to keep my teams relatively younger, but there's no shot of getting a top 10 RB (most are younger) without losing something valuable as well
