Who is rb that’s being called Roy Kent?

A few people on the podcast said Roy Kent. Thought I misheard the first time but definitely didn’t

roy kent is from Ted Lasso and I'm pretty sure he's based off of Roy Keane who used to play for Manchester United

I know the character from the show. But they’re calling a rb in the nfl Roy Kent. Guessing it’s a reference to the show but it’s also a nickname they’ve given a player in the nfl. Just trying to figure out who it is

I believe you misheard. It’s Clark Kent and he is a beat reporter for the Bugel.

It’s Jeff man’s who calls him that. He doesn’t want people who listen to him and do drafts with him to know who he is talking about anymore. So he officially announced he would no longer say Javonte Williams and says Roy Kent instead

He did the same thing last year with Allen Lazard and a different nickname

My story will only piss you off. From San Diego, when chargers left I picked a new team that had just finished last place before the nfl draft. Picked eagles… they win Super Bowl that year. I do not have the struggle that all eagles fans felt for years and years before. My only tie to the city, my last year in pro ball(minor leagues) was the Phillies.
